The MGH Institute of Health Professions, founded by Mass General Hospital and the only degree-granting affiliate of Mass General Brigham, offers both an Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy. These programs are conducted in an interprofessional graduate academic setting, integrating innovative educational methods and modern technology. MGH’s connection to the IHP was a big deciding factor to me, I mean, it’s a world-renowned hospital. It was important to do the clinicals here, in fact, I did my preceptorship on the floor that I currently work on. Also, the program is set apart from other nursing programs because all classes are in-person, which I found super helpful.
